The Game Table

The Game Table displays data about the state of the game. This includes: the current state of the Draw and Discard Piles, the current player, and the current player's rack of cards.

Before the game begins, the Game Table appears empty, like so:

Think of the space between these horizontal lines as the "shared" table space between all players.

Once gameplay begins, you will see the Draw Pile and Discard Pile displayed between these horizontal lines.

During a player's turn, the Game Table expands to include information about the current player and her rack of cards. For example:

Below the shared table space, we now see the current player's name (Beth) and a list of numbers (separated by slashes).

Each number represents a card in Beth's rack.

The letter below each number indicates that card's location in the rack. Players use this location information to indicate which card they wish to replace during their turn. In this example, the number 12 is at location e.
